Cabaret Maxim is a band that consists of two musicians : One DJ-bongo player and one Saxophone - Sopranino player.
We're two french childhood friends from Paris that have met again in Vietnam two years ago.
"I am the DJ. I’ve started playing the drums when I was 13, and started DJing in Paris at the age of 19 -simultaneously as I was studying Foreign Languages and Commerce. My father who, dedicated 15 years of his life to the the Dictionary of Rock and Roll Music, immersed me in the world of music at a very young age."
Maxime followed classes of music theory and learned classical music when he was younger. He’s been constantly practicing Saxophone and getting inspiration throughout his trips.
We started playing music together at the age 13, and went through a lot of different genres.
This concept- duo that we've created is only 1 year old but it is the result of years and years of inspiration.
Cabaret Maxim ranges from Deep House to Disco, from Jazz to Hip Hop, Soul and World music.
