OLD SAIGON is an event designed by FMR - For Many Reasons to fit the ambiance of Indika’s ancient house and bring back the atmosphere of the former Sai Gon for a unique day.
Viet Nam is evolving faster and faster, the shape of Ho Chi Minh being modified every day…sometimes leaving behind old venues and traditional habits. However spirit of the bygone times is far from being forgotten and OLD SAIGON will harmoniously mix them with our modern days.
This journey into the former Sai Gon will take you into a small alley with street vendors to go back in time, gather all generations and make you rediscover Sai Gon.

OLD SAIGON will be filled with music all day, combining traditional live bands and contemporary DJs.
The event goers will wander between exhibitions, small market with traditional objects embellished by modern artists, and olden activities (dance, game, calligraphy, fake opium den). Let’s also immerse yourself in the Scent Room to revive the old city ambiance.

OLD SAIGON also aims at gathering and connecting people through collaborative painting and talks over old Sai Gon pictures&objects (collectors and amateur are more than welcome with their collections/post-cards/slideshows if too precious).
